Special Features of this lab-based workshop:

This workshop is targeted to Software, Electrical, and Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineers with some programming experience.

EyeSim VR Simulation
  • You will be using our EyeSim-VR simulation system and program robots in Python or C/C++. EyeSim builds on the realistic physics engine Unity, is free of charge and runs natively on Windows10, MacOS and Linux.
EyeBot Mobile Robot
  • The simulated robots – and their real counterparts – are our EyeBot mobile robots, which use camera and distance sensors, are powered by a Raspberry PI, and are using our powerful RoBIOS library.
  • The workshop is highly interactive with short presentations in an all-day lab setting with lots of time for experimenting.

Attend this workshop and learn how to program an intelligent mobile robot. Using predominantly simulation, we will be able to solve more complex problems and gain further insight into mobile robots.

Learn how to

  • Drive a mobile robot
  • Use the camera and sensors for real-time processing
  • Implement important robotics tasks such as
    localization and mapping
