Presented by:

Co-founder of Robotics startups, Niryo, and The Robotics Back-End.

Taught more than 3000 people worldwide through online courses

The workshop is divided into 3 parts.

  • The first part will teach you how to build the “muscles” of your hardware prototype with Arduino.
  • The second part is focused on the “brain” of your prototype, using Raspberry Pi.
  • And the third one is a complete overview of a proposed “fast prototyping stack”, with experience feedback and discussion/brainstorming on participants’ projects.

All sessions contain hands-on activities.

For Who?

Anyone who wants to:

  • Discover Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and the possible applications with those hardware platforms
  • Develop and test hardware product ideas really fast
  • Build a test bench for a product
  • Teach fast prototyping to their students
  • Start a hardware company with low resources, and going to market fast

This workshop is aimed at people who identify themselves with one of the points above. The hands-on sessions are focused on the programming side of things.

The target audience is people who have zero or almost zero experience with Arduino and Raspberry Pi.

What you will learn/do?

  • Use and program an Arduino board with small hardware components
  • Use and program Raspberry Pi with Python
  • Make Arduino and Raspberry Pi communicate with each other
  • Understand fast prototyping with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, 3D printing, open source, etc., and what to do next
  • Overview of a complete “fast prototyping” stack with experience sharing
